Dr. Sadiq Bhanbhro

Dr. Sadiq Bhanbhro is a multidisciplinary research and development professional with 20+ years of multi-country experience in research, evaluation, public health, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), policy analysis, and technical advisory services. He provides strategic leadership to Integrated Research Solutions Global (IRS Global), overseeing the design and delivery of evidence-based research, assessments, evaluations and development programmes.

His professional experience spans the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Indonesia and the Philippines, with extensive engagement in international research and development initiatives. His technical expertise covers public health, education, gender, WASH, health inequalities, climate and health, social determinants of health, equity and inclusion, supported by strong expertise in qualitative, participatory, ethnographic and evidence-synthesis methodologies.

As Executive Director, he leads strategic planning, programme oversight, research quality assurance, MEL systems, donor and stakeholder engagement, partnership development, financial stewardship, governance and multidisciplinary team leadership. He also oversees proposal development and strategic collaborations with donors, government institutions, academic organisations and development partners.

Dr. Bhanbhro has led and contributed to local, national and international research projects, including work supported by internationally recognized research and funding institutions. His academic and research profile includes peer-reviewed publications, international research collaborations, policy engagement and knowledge translation, demonstrating a strong commitment to converting research evidence into practical and policy-relevant solutions.
